The biggest difference between Free and paid plans is that with a subscription your data is backed up to cloud storage and syncs across your devices. On the Free plan you cards are live in the Browser cache - once that fills (or is emptied!) your work is lost. The Plus and Pro plans provide additional credits each day so you can practice more with the platform and build mastery over time. Both Plus and Pro offer the ability to pause, switch, or cancel at any time.
Your data stays private. Free Members' data never leaves their browser. Plus and Pro Members' data is securely stored in the cloud for backup only. We never sell, read, or use your data to train AI models. See our Privacy Policy.

The source language is the one you dream in. For most of us this is the one we grew up speaking. The target language is what you're learning. Chatting with the AI is 100% in the target language to help you grow accustom to the sounds and rhythm. Don't worry, you can throw in English words to keep the convo going. AI will help supply the missing words.
Lite Mode kicks in when you run out of credits for the day. Translation and pronunciation move into your browser, so you can still translate new words and study your cards. Chat returns when your credits refresh at midnight UTC — or sooner, if you upgrade.
Download higher-quality voices for free! On Mac: Settings > Accessibility > Read and Speak > System Voice. On PC: Settings > Time and Language > Speech > Add a natural voice. Natural voices sound much better!
